Attractive string of sculpted Saa paper shapes in the form of blue and pink teddy bears with white hearts, on a long length of string with hanging hoop. The shapes can be moved along the string to spread out along and extend or bunch up and shorten the piece.
Saa paper is a special, thin paper that is handmade in Thailand from the bark of the mulberry tree. The bark is harvested using a technique of coppicing, allowing the tree to regrow.
